Reciprocity Roots

When tech meets the natural world.

Explore the natural world through new eyes! Reciprocity is an augmented reality (AR) artwork app that explores trees and our relationship to them. What can we discover when we use technology to add a new lens to our persepctive?

Reciprocity is supported by EIRA, a Research England financed initiative, Metal and Forestry England. It is part of NetPark, Metal's digital park project in Chalkwell Park in Southend-on-Sea, the world's first digital art park. The aim of the project was to increase our understanding of how Augmented Reality (AR) apps could be used to change the way we perceive our surroundings, encourage us to spend more time outdoors, and increase wellbeing.
